The Information and Cybersecurity Management Major equips students with both leadership insights and technical expertise to develop, govern, safeguard, and utilize an organization's information and data assets. This program offers two specialized tracks. The Information Systems concentration centers on the frameworks, workflows, and technologies businesses employ to handle their informational resources. Meanwhile, the Cybersecurity Management concentration adopts a leadership-oriented approach to cybersecurity and risk mitigation that modern enterprises require across all operational areas. Both pathways deliver a robust technical grounding through a management lens, preparing graduates to immediately address challenges in organizational Information and Cybersecurity Management.
This major cultivates the strategic vision and technical capabilities necessary to establish, regulate, secure, and maximize the value of corporate information assets. The curriculum covers fundamental principles and practical applications in key domains like business process optimization, database systems, network communications, cybersecurity protocols, systems analysis & design, information risk assessment, and project oversight. Additionally, the program explores cutting-edge subjects such as cloud-based solutions, mobile transactions, integrated enterprise platforms, business analytics, predictive modeling, and large-scale data governance. It prioritizes implementing technological solutions and information security strategies to resolve real-world business challenges.
