The Latin American and Latino/a Studies Major offers students an opportunity to explore the languages, history, political systems, and cultural traditions of Latin America and U.S. Hispanic communities. This program promotes the creation of individualized academic plans that adopt both global and comparative viewpoints, while recognizing the diverse cultural backgrounds of individuals across the expansive Latin American region and those in the United States who identify as Latino/a.
