This program allows students to acquire expertise in handling materials systems, spanning from their creation to their transformation into finished goods. Students may choose subjects covering organic chemistry and materials synthesis, self-assembly driven by thermodynamics, and the production of hybrid organic-inorganic materials. They can participate in materials processing, such as nanomaterials and microfluidic techniques, and analyze mechanical, optical, and other material characteristics based on their makeup and processing methods.
