As the nation's first M.F.A. program of its kind, MICA's Curatorial Practice M.F.A. equips students to redefine curatorial roles by developing innovative approaches to exhibitions, institutional development, and art-driven social change.
This hands-on program combines collaborative, socially conscious projects with rigorous historical and theoretical study. Through both group and solo exhibition projects, students foster dialogue, connect diverse communities, and spark interdisciplinary conversations that extend beyond traditional art spaces.
During this intensive two-year, 60-credit program, participants immerse themselves in exhibition development while shaping their professional identity and acquiring the practical skills of working curators.
