Given their innate activist nature, artists frequently emerge as prominent advocates addressing our era's most urgent issues.
MICA's interdisciplinary Ecosystems, Sustainability, and Justice (ESJ) BFA program equips students to tackle global challenges through artistic and design perspectives. As an ESJ student, you'll master blending disciplines and collaborative thinking via a curriculum integrating studio work, theory, research, and community involvement. This foundation enables you to harness creativity for solving intricate environmental and societal problems, contributing to a fairer, more sustainable planet.

MICA requires a minimum TOEFL score of 75 (MyBest scores are accepted), an IELTS score of 6.0, a PTE score of 58, or a Duolingo score of 105. MICA's institution code is 5399 for TOEFL and IELTS.
