As Wisconsin's sole dental school, we provide access to cutting-edge clinical facilities and educational technology. Throughout our program, you'll be mentored by faculty and industry experts committed to Marquette's mission: developing exceptional oral health practitioners capable of delivering superior dental services to diverse communities nationwide and globally. We'll equip you to begin practicing right after graduation. The Orthodontics master's program spans 26.5 months. Participants must fulfill at least 30 credit hours of coursework, comprising required clinical practice hours each academic year plus six thesis credits. The balance consists of specialty-focused courses and electives. The Orthodontics master's program runs for 26.5 months. Enrollees need to complete no fewer than 30 credit hours, with designated clinical practice credits annually and six thesis credits. Additional requirements include discipline-specific classes and elective options.
Prospective Master of Science candidates can enroll exclusively through Plan A, offering two pathways: conventional thesis or publication-based completion. To earn the degree, all students must pass biostatistics and research methodology courses with a B- or better, execute a relevant clinical or scientific research project, and publicly defend their findings. The advisory committee oversees the defense format and content requirements.
