A master's program in educational leadership caters to educators and administrators seeking to obtain a graduate degree or certification for principal and instructional director roles. Learners may also pursue principal or instructional director licensure without completing the full M.Ed through our certification pathway. Engage in rigorous examination of institutional leadership within K-12 environments to prepare for administrative positions. Based on your selected track, our curriculum qualifies participants for either Wisconsin's Director of Instruction credential or Principal certification. The Master of Education curriculum equips graduate candidates to become exemplary leaders in education. By emphasizing the social, cultural, philosophical, and historical dimensions of schooling, we foster professionals who champion thoughtful analysis and equitable practices. Marquette University's College of Education is devoted to cultivating tomorrow's school administrators. Our instructors are passionate about shaping transformative professionals who advocate for fairness. Guided by the principle of cura personalis, we train educators to maintain Jesuit values of individual care, equity, scholastic rigor, moral conduct, and urban community service.
