Marquette University's Graduate School of Management collaborates with the Law School to provide a dual-degree program combining an MBA with a Juris Doctor. Prospective students must apply independently to both schools and satisfy each institution's admission criteria. The program is designed to optimize time and effort while ensuring comprehensive education in both fields. Up to 12 approved law credits can count toward MBA requirements, while the Law School accepts a maximum of 9 MBA credits for the JD. Students coordinate with both programs to fulfill degree requirements, with 21 shared credits reducing total coursework by approximately one year. Dual advisors are assigned, and pre-semester meetings are advised. Typically completed in 4 years, the program integrates MBA and law coursework during the second and third years of law studies after the initial 3-year JD curriculum.
