Established in 1975, Madonna University's Sign Language Studies (SLS) department enables students to cultivate American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency while gaining insight into the language and its cultural context. Over four years of rigorous training and practice, students acquire the interpretation abilities required for professional sign language interpreting careers. Enrolled in Madonna's Interpreting Studies program, you'll play a vital role in facilitating communication between English and ASL users. Join Madonna's 40+ year legacy of serving the Deaf community.
Current high school students and high school graduates who have not enrolled in a post-secondary institution after high school apply to Madonna as a freshman.
Cumulative high school GPA of 2.8 or above
Requirement for Undergraduate Admission:
TOEFL: 70 (iBT); IELTS: 6; MELAB: 76
