Qualification Requirements
Applicants should have completed at least a bachelor's degree to apply. Transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate work are required for admission.
Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation.
Your statement of purpose should be a brief, one page statement that explains your interest in this program.
An virtual interview is required for admission. International applicants can interview by phone or video conference.
International applicants must have a degree equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree and are required to submit the above documents as well as:
TOEFL or IELTS scores
A Declaration and Certification of Finances Form
Evaluations of international transcripts sent by any member organization of NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services)
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable, faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts, we have them on record. Copies of transcripts or transcripts not received in a sealed envelope from the university are considered unofficial. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts. We strongly encourage electronic submission of documents. Official transcripts should show a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In exceptional cases, applicants whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be admitted.
For the TOEFL, a minimum score of 79 on the iBT
For the IELTS, a minimum score of 6.0 is required.
