Applicants must possess a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) certificate from an ACEND-accredited institution or be admitted to Loyola's Dietetic Internship program. Current registration holders are exempt from supervised practice requirements.

Students must hold a baccalaureate degree and a certificate of completion of the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) from an ACEND-accredited program. The GRE, MCAT, and GMAT scores could be waived, considering if the applicant had a 3.0 or higher during their undergraduate program.
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable, faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts, we have them on record. Copies of transcripts or transcripts not received in a sealed envelope from the university are considered unofficial. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts. We strongly encourage electronic submission of documents. Official transcripts should show a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In exceptional cases, applicants whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be admitted.
