Loyola University Chicago's Master of Science (MS) in Cell and Molecular Physiology (MS CaMP) is a rigorous two-year program focused on research, offering comprehensive training in cellular, molecular, and systems-level physiology while enabling students to conduct research under faculty guidance. The MS CaMP program cultivates a dynamic and engaging research atmosphere. Numerous alumni advance to PhD or MD programs at prestigious institutions including the University of Chicago, Brown University, Northwestern University, and Loyola's own Stritch School of Medicine.
Students in the MS CaMP program will develop competencies in:
Building a broad foundation in biomedical sciences
Developing specialized expertise through analysis of historical and contemporary scientific literature within their chosen physiology focus area
Formulating research hypotheses and designing/executing experiments to evaluate them
Enhancing scientific communication skills for both specialist and non-specialist audiences
