This two-year Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is a thesis-driven, interdisciplinary program that enables students to investigate diverse research areas such as cancer origins and treatments, viral molecular studies, gene expression control, immune system molecular biology, genetic systems in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, and heart-related molecular research. Drawing faculty expertise from all fundamental science departments, we provide tailored learning and research opportunities aligned with individual student objectives.
The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology MS Program equips students with foundational scientific knowledge and methodological skills, preparing them for roles as academic researchers, biotechnology professionals, or science educators. Many alumni pursue further studies through MD or PhD programs, with over 50% of graduates employed in industrial or academic settings.
