The education specialist degree in school psychology bridges the gap between a master's and doctoral degree. What makes our program unique is its strong focus on equity and social justice principles. This program is particularly well-suited for aspiring school psychologists aiming to serve in urban school settings. As part of the school psychologist degree, you'll collaborate with Loyola faculty to address issues of educational disparity and develop skills for ensuring equitable service distribution to all students. The curriculum prepares you to partner with teachers, families, and community stakeholders while delivering comprehensive academic, behavioral, and mental health services to students from preschool through high school. Our School Psychology program (MEd/EdS) prepares future practitioners to champion student and family needs while navigating educational inequities. You'll gain practical techniques to enhance student success both academically and personally, fostering optimal learning environments.
