This interdisciplinary BA program caters to students passionate about both sociology and anthropology. It emphasizes the overlapping theoretical frameworks and methodologies between these two fields. The SANT major exposes students to key subject areas from both disciplines while offering flexible elective options, enabling a more comprehensive social science education than individual sociology or anthropology majors provide. Prospective students considering the combined Sociology-Anthropology major should seek guidance from either department's Chairperson or Undergraduate Program Director.
