The Chemistry Department provides robust academic programs for both undergraduate and graduate students. Our offerings include ACS-accredited BS degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, along with BA degrees and chemistry minors. Many chemistry undergraduates join the American Chemical Society's student chapter. Students also have access to plentiful research opportunities and are actively encouraged to engage in faculty-led research initiatives.
The Chemistry & Biochemistry Department provides four undergraduate degree options: BA in Chemistry, BA in Biochemistry, BS in Chemistry, and BS in Biochemistry. These programs adhere to professional standards, with the CHEM-BS program receiving ACS accreditation. Loyola's programs stand out through personalized faculty-student interactions, facilitated by smaller upper-level class sizes.
