The Entrepreneurship Concentration allows law students with business interests to incorporate two three-unit MBA courses from LMU's College of Business Administration (CBA) into their LLS studies. These courses are part of CBA's Entrepreneurship Program, with all prerequisites waived. Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs or future corporate lawyers, this concentration helps students develop business expertise to complement their legal education.
Along with two MBA electives, participants must complete foundational courses including Business Associations, Securities Regulation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Planning, and Legal Research for Transactional Lawyers.
This option isn't open to MBA graduates or JD/MBA candidates. MBA courses are graded pass/fail, making honors ineligible. Note that non-LLS courses taken outside approved programs don't receive full JD credit.
