Interior designers breathe vitality into the indoor environments we occupy. They craft, arrange, furnish, and embellish building interiors to mirror our individual and collective aspirations. Modern interior designers go beyond mere decoration. They contemplate significance and self-expression, utility and intention, along with health and safety concerns. Their projects span diverse settings, from homes to business complexes, creating spaces in new constructions and innovatively repurposing existing ones.
Our Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) program holds accreditation from the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and fulfills the educational prerequisites for both the NCIDQ examination and professional licensing. With a strong professional focus, our curriculum emphasizes commercial and workplace interiors. Students gain expertise in design principles, color and lighting, historical and theoretical foundations, furnishings and materials, environmental controls, interior construction techniques, and regulatory standards. The program also fosters analytical reasoning, global design perspectives, teamwork appreciation, and effective creative and professional communication methods.
