The 120-credit Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology equips you for a profession assisting individuals across all age groups with communication challenges—from toddlers experiencing stuttering to adults recovering speech after strokes.
In addition to a well-rounded liberal arts foundation, the program provides instruction in both typical and atypical communication development. Learners gain practical experience by observing clients with speech and language impairments in real-world environments. Selected students may qualify for hands-on fieldwork opportunities. This degree prepares graduates to pursue advanced master's studies and work toward earning ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence, along with New York State credentials as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
