The Environmental Policy (EP) program enables students to delve into diverse academic and professional fields of interest. The following table illustrates five potential specialization tracks aligned with faculty strengths and program offerings. Each concentration requires 12-15 elective credits along with a relevant internship or thesis project. For graduate certification, participants must finish one mandatory policy course plus three approved 400-level electives in their selected field. These certifications are open to EP graduate students, other Lehigh graduate candidates, eligible Lehigh undergraduates, and non-degree seeking students.

Qualification Requirements
Those applying to be non-degree graduate students must have a bachelor's degree from an approved institution with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 (applicants with undergraduate GPAs below 3.0 may be admitted with the approval of the department in which they wish to take courses). Applicants may be currently enrolled in a graduate program elsewhere or may have already completed a degree at another university.
To be eligible to apply, you must have completed your undergraduate (either BA or BS) degree. No specific major is required or preferred, and our intentionally interdisciplinary program has drawn students with backgrounds in a wide range of disciplines, such as biology, ecology, environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental studies, economics, history, political science, and sociology.
