Graduate students in Computer Science pursue innovative research across diverse domains such as database systems, web search technologies, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, online platforms, digital media processing, computational biology, artificial intelligence, hardware design, automation, cybersecurity, networking, IoT devices, and wireless technologies. Additionally, scholars and students investigate cross-disciplinary computer science applications by partnering with experts from other Lehigh departments, external academic institutions, and industrial research facilities. These collaborative efforts span all four colleges at Lehigh, connecting with fields like life sciences, creative design, social sciences, business administration, market research, economic theory, pedagogical studies, and various engineering disciplines including civil, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering.
