The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides diverse graduate programs culminating in master's and doctoral degrees in EE and CpE. Our faculty's broad expertise fosters a collaborative relationship between these two degree paths. Students can tailor their coursework to align with their academic passions and professional aspirations. Fulfill all university doctoral program prerequisites. A minimum of 75 credit hours must be completed post-bachelor's degree. Up to 30 credits from a master's program in electrical or computer engineering at FIU or another accredited institution may be applied toward the Ph.D. requirements.
