Collectively, these two fields empower biomedical engineers to create procedures and tools that assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, reduce the invasiveness of medical tests, improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, and otherwise advance medical practices. Biomedical engineers collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and refine these technologies.
Students must have high school equivalent. The following English proficiency test scores are required for students for whom English is a second language: 60 on the TOEFL iBT; 5.5 on the IELTS; 95 on the Duolingo English Test for undergraduate students.
