The architecture curriculum offers two degree paths: a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and an NAAB-accredited Master of Architecture program with direct enrollment. These programs build a comprehensive framework for cultivating design expertise, social consciousness, environmental stewardship, analytical thinking, and professional readiness. As the mandatory qualification for architectural licensure, this NAAB-accredited program not only focuses on architectural practice but also delivers a well-rounded education suitable for diverse career paths. Graduates find opportunities in teaching, research, product design, public sector roles, and various creative fields beyond traditional architecture.
The bachelor's program specifically readies students for Lawrence Tech's Master of Architecture - the professional architecture degree with accreditation. Architecture students can also opt into the Integrated Path to Licensure Initiative, enabling them to fulfill licensure requirements for professional experience and exams concurrently with their studies. The College provides five combined degree alternatives, including pairing the Master of Architecture with either a Master of Business Administration or a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
