The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences Pharmacology offers extensive research opportunities in molecular targeting, drug development, and delivery systems for innovative disease treatments. This interdisciplinary program accepts a limited number of graduate students pursuing research careers in pharmacology, combining academic coursework with hands-on laboratory experience through collaborations with Kent State University and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). Key research areas include cardiovascular/metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative/blood-brain barrier pharmacology, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary problem-solving approaches.
