The Master of Music in Performance equips students for professional musical careers, encompassing solo performances, orchestral and ensemble work, collaborative projects, studio instruction, and preparation for doctoral studies. This program focuses on cultivating expertise across key areas: repertoire knowledge, performance techniques, practice methods, artistic interpretation, teaching approaches, historical performance styles, and music theory/history.

Upon completing this program, graduates will demonstrate the ability to:
Analyze, interpret, and perform significant works spanning various historical eras, cultural origins, and composers.
Exhibit advanced performance capabilities in both solo and group contexts, covering sound quality, precision, tuning, instrumental/vocal methods, artistic expression, vocal articulation, and stage performance.
