The Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training program emphasizes injury and illness prevention, health protection, emergency response, rehabilitation, clinical assessment, and professional healthcare management.
This program includes both pre-professional and professional stages. In the pre-professional phase, students undertake 80 observation hours in athletic training facilities, gaining exposure to both academic and clinical aspects of the field. After this, students must apply for admission to the professional phase, which involves three years of hands-on training. During this period, they apply their academic knowledge and develop clinical skills across diverse settings including college sports programs, secondary schools, sports medicine clinics, orthopedic practices, and other healthcare environments.
