The Bachelor of Science in American Sign Language/English Interpreting equips students to serve deaf and hard-of-hearing communities across various environments such as educational institutions, corporate workplaces, healthcare facilities, and social service organizations.

Through rigorous coursework led by nationally certified faculty, students cultivate interpreting proficiency, ASL fluency, and ethical practice. The curriculum covers interpreting methodologies, ethical problem-solving frameworks, and linguistic comparisons between English and ASL, including studies of grammar, discourse patterns, and cultural communication norms. Learners develop continuous self-evaluation techniques while completing approximately 400 hours of hands-on training. The program includes mentorship opportunities and prepares graduates for both the National Interpreter Certification (NIC) and Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) examinations.
