The Security Studies graduate program offers an intensive, cross-disciplinary curriculum designed to equip students for professional roles in research, academia, and security/international relations. The program provides comprehensive training in social science approaches, historical analysis methods, and contemporary security challenges. While many applicants hold a Kansas State University Master of Arts in Security Studies, this isn't mandatory. Candidates with equivalent master's degrees in related fields may enter directly into the Ph.D. program.
