Geography students acquire versatile skills that equip them for diverse career paths involving spatial analysis, environmental conservation, resource stewardship, urban planning, global development, and beyond. They can opt for a standard geography major, complement their studies with a geography minor, or select the geography-pre-planning track. Both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees are available. Specialization options include governance and global studies, urban planning, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Alumni enter fields like environmental conservation, renewable energy, public service, ecological preservation, legal sectors, policy making, logistics, cultural studies, and global relations, offering geographic insights to various organizations. Customized focus areas can also be tailored to match individual student interests, such as advanced GIS applications.
