JWU Providence's Master of Public Health program begins by examining public health's origins and the key historical milestones that shaped today's U.S. public health system. Students then evaluate environmental impacts on community health, emerging health patterns, disease prevention strategies, health equity principles, and diversity/inclusion initiatives. The curriculum culminates in a Public Health Capstone, collaborating with faculty and local organizations to address actual public health issues.
Johnson & Wales University prioritizes exceptional educational experiences and flexible career pathways. Our campus-based MPH provides both full-time and part-time enrollment options to accommodate diverse schedules.
Full-time students can complete the program within 24 months. JWU encourages applications from all academic backgrounds - whether your undergraduate degree is in health sciences, business, social sciences, or other fields, you can launch your public health career through our program.
