Core equine courses cover anatomy, physiology, behavior, lameness, sports therapy, genetics, nutrition, diseases, and reproduction. Advanced classes refine skills in horse evaluation, facility design, operations, and event coordination. Practical training includes hands-on experience in horse care, handling, health management, nutrition, stable operations, and equipment use. Every student completes an industry internship at approved equine facilities. Arts & Sciences coursework enhances essential workplace skills like critical thinking and communication while allowing personal interest exploration.
