The SBI Program focuses on studying and educating about creating, applying, and assessing public health initiatives rooted in social sciences to assist disadvantaged populations worldwide and in local communities. This STEM-certified program allows qualified F-1 visa students to extend their work authorization by 24 months after the standard 12-month post-graduation OPT period. Our approach integrates multiple fields, incorporating theories and methods from medical anthropology, nutritional anthropology, social epidemiology, behavioral psychology, health education, and various other social science and public health domains.
