The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program is a full-time academic pursuit providing an interdisciplinary education customized to each student's focus on addressing critical environmental health and engineering challenges. This PhD training in Environmental Health and Engineering (EHE) aims to equip graduates for scholarly work and professional application, generating novel insights, translating research into practical solutions for environmental and public health improvement, and effectively sharing findings with broader audiences. The curriculum includes structured coursework followed by typically four to five years of dissertation research (formally termed thesis in official documentation).
