Environmental engineers are crucial in connecting intricate scientific knowledge with the creation of public policies that impact the environment. Our research methods, which rely on data, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the utilization of resources and knowledge from various departments, equip you for careers in industry, government, and advanced studies.
Graduates are ready to excel as engineering experts in private and public sectors, and/or as scholars in premier graduate schools. We train students to analyze critically, express ideas clearly, and work cooperatively while applying core engineering principles to environmental issues. We stress the value of continuous learning, ethical standards, and contributing to the community.
Undergraduates in EHE's Environmental Engineering (BSE) program tackle issues like alternative energy, population increase, air contamination, urban expansion, and the exhaustion of natural resources. Our quantitative, evidence-based research strategies, combined with cross-disciplinary solutions and societal engagement, along with students' capacity to draw on the assets and know-how of diverse university units, ready them for roles in industry and government, as well as for elite graduate studies.
