This innovative program explores music's role in traditional visual media like films and TV shows, examining how and why music amplifies dramatic and emotional impact (for instance, by defining time periods and locations, shaping atmosphere, building connections, suspense, or hidden meanings). As you progress to interactive media like games, you'll collaborate with peers using professional tools including the Unity engine and Wwise audio software. Beyond conventional gaming systems and VR headsets, we'll explore diverse audio outputs from 3D headphones to complex speaker setups.
