The Writing Seminars program provides a liberal arts education focused on writing. Alongside fiction and poetry, you'll explore literature, philosophy, and history across various departments while developing proficiency in another language. You'll create a portfolio of original work that not only qualifies for MFA program applications but also prepares you for careers in communication, law, education, or any field requiring strong analytical and clear writing abilities.
The Writing Seminars delivers a liberal arts curriculum centered on writing. Students majoring in Writing Seminars enroll in fiction and poetry workshops, study the history and craft of literary forms, and take literature classes emphasizing detailed analysis of significant texts from a creative writer's perspective.
Student must have high school transcript.
English language Requirements:
Students must have Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) are 26 (Reading), 26 (Listening), 22 (Writing), and 25 (Speaking). A score of 7.0 or higher on each band is expected on IELTS.
