This program readies graduates to serve effectively across diverse social service environments tackling poverty, various forms of oppression, social inequality, and human rights issues. The department aims to create a courageous learning environment for students of all backgrounds, pursuing excellence in education, research, and community engagement. Graduates are also prepared for advanced studies in social work and related fields such as law, mental health counseling, and public administration.
Beyond traditional lectures and discussions, the program employs innovative teaching methods like case studies and hands-on learning experiences.
