Develop the ability to craft research questions, design investigation strategies, and execute them autonomously, demonstrated through successful completion of preliminary exams and dissertation defense.
Submit at least one article to a peer-reviewed journal. This work should align with your dissertation topic, with you contributing significantly to both the research and authorship. Typically, dissertations contain 2-4 manuscripts suitable for independent publication.

Your primary advisor (or co-advisors) must possess the interdisciplinary expertise to guide your research effectively.
