The Department of Economics provides a Bachelor of Science program in Agricultural Business. This major equips students for graduate programs (such as Master's or Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Law School, MBA) and professional opportunities in agricultural finance, supply chain management, commodity trading, business research, farm operations, commercial agriculture management, agricultural sales, public relations, extension services, international work, and government roles. A minor in Agricultural Business is also available.

Agricultural Business majors frequently select electives that complement minors from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences or the Ivy College of Business, focusing on specialized areas like finance, management, commodity markets, research, agricultural sales, environmental economics, ranch operations, international trade, extension services, or public sector work. While a combined Agricultural Business major with an Economics minor isn't allowed, students may pursue a double major in both fields.

The Agricultural Business program offers flexibility. Students can opt for specialized Business Options in Finance, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management. Choosing a Business Option doesn't alter the core major requirements. The Department of Economics oversees eligibility and curriculum standards for these options, with full details accessible on their official website.
