The Individualized Study Program grants both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees to UMBC undergraduates who complete the INDS 335 course to develop a degree proposal approved by the Individualized Study Committee (ISC). Every student collaborates with INDS advisors and two carefully selected faculty members or professionals to design their customized academic path. Along with offering foundational courses that enable interdisciplinary studies, we actively support internship opportunities and self-directed research projects.
