The Industrial Design Department's mission is to equip future designers with the skills to recognize and address challenges of all magnitudes, creating innovative, system-wide solutions that consider social impacts and environmental consequences while promoting wellness for both humanity and nature.
This is achieved by equipping learners with essential resources and hands-on training throughout the entire design process - from initial problem identification via research and analysis, to developing impactful solutions encompassing products, services, and integrated systems. Our industrial design curriculum facilitates cross-disciplinary partnerships within the university and externally to address diverse design issues at local and international levels.
