Students accepted into any of the nine Indiana University School of Medicine campuses can apply for the combined MD-MPH program offered through the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI. This dual degree equips you to bridge clinical patient care with community public health initiatives while broadening your professional opportunities in fields like global health, healthcare administration, policy development, research, non-profit leadership, environmental health, and migrant health services. The MD-MPH curriculum is structured as a five-year program.
Students must have received a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in the United States or another country.

IUPUI Program for Intensive English (PIE) - Level 7 Check with your academic department for approval
Any ELS center located in the US or Canada - Level 112 Check with your academic department for approval
Degree from an English-speaking Country - Completed Bachelor's degree or higher from one of these designated countries (both lists)
ECFMG Certification - Official certification received from the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
