The LL.M. program serves multiple objectives: it enables practicing U.S. attorneys to refine their expertise and expand their understanding of specialized legal topics, assists internationally licensed lawyers in familiarizing themselves with U.S. legal systems to prepare for the American Bar exam, and offers a concentrated study path for legal academics pursuing advanced knowledge in specific legal fields as a foundation for S.J.D./Ph.D. studies and scholarly careers. The curriculum is tailored to provide comprehensive specialization. Applicants receive guidance from admissions advisors to align their legal interests with appropriate program tracks, including consultations with faculty and current students to identify the optimal path for their professional aspirations. While McKinney Law's LL.M. program maintains a defined structure, it also allows customization through elective courses and practical experiences tailored to individual objectives.

The Health Law, Policy and Bioethics concentration enables students to: Acquire both practical and theoretical insights into healthcare legislation, policy frameworks, and ethical considerations. Examine healthcare systems and their impact on moral dilemmas in medical and legal contexts. Expand career prospects in legal professions. Obtain an LL.M. from a nationally recognized institution renowned for health law education
