Earn an 18-credit Museum Studies Graduate Certificate to enhance your advanced degree and equip yourself for museum professions. Begin with one mandatory introductory course (3 credits) to establish your theoretical base. Select two core courses (6 credits) from approved options (or an MSTD elective with approval) to learn museum methodologies, then choose two electives (6 additional credits), including at least one MSTD course, to explore specialized topics aligned with your interests. Complete your certification with an essential internship (3 credits), gaining hands-on experience at a local museum while working alongside an expert mentor.
