The 18-credit Museum Studies Undergraduate Certificate enhances your major while opening doors to museum careers or graduate school preparation. Two core courses (6 credits) establish a solid grounding in museum principles. A methods course (3 credits) introduces practical techniques, while two electives (6 credits) allow specialization in your preferred areas. The program culminates with a required internship (3 credits), providing hands-on experience at a local museum and mentorship opportunities with industry professionals.

We do not require SAT or ACT test scores for admission or merit scholarship consideration.
Students who are admitted with TOEFL iBT of 60-94 or IELTS of 5.5-6.5 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 90) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
