The IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI features a Certificate in Motorsports Studies, allowing students to explore various motorsports disciplines and the broader industry. This program equips participants with valuable skills for motorsports-related professions.
This undergraduate certificate caters to those fascinated by subjects such as motorsports history, gender representation in racing, diversity in motorsports, and the financial aspects of the sport.
Beyond the core motorsports curriculum, specialized pathways are offered focusing on communications and PR, business operations, financial management, as well as tourism and event coordination.
This interdisciplinary program leverages the School of Engineering and Technology's Motorsports Engineering degree and, based on individual preferences, may incorporate courses from business, journalism, and health and human sciences departments.

We do not require SAT or ACT test scores for admission or merit scholarship consideration.
Students who are admitted with TOEFL iBT of 60-94 or IELTS of 5.5-6.5 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 90) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
