The five-year B.S./M.S. Program in Biomedical Engineering enables high-achieving students to obtain both a Bachelor's and a non-thesis Master's degree within five years. (A thesis-based option is also offered, though it may extend the timeline depending on research advancement.) Eligibility for this dual-degree program requires students to achieve a minimum GPA of 3.2 across the initial 85 credit hours counted toward the B.S.B.M.E. curriculum. For students adhering to the standard undergraduate track, these 85 credit hours are typically finished by the conclusion of the junior year's first semester.
