This CACREP-accredited 60-credit program is available at our Indiana, Pennsylvania campus or IUP's Pittsburgh East location.

For those holding a master's degree with 48+ credits in counseling or a related field, the licensure-only track offers the remaining credits needed for Pennsylvania state licensure requirements.

Degree-seeking students in the counseling department may also apply for competitive graduate assistantships. These 10-20 hour weekly positions provide supervised experience under faculty guidance, including partial tuition remission and a stipend distributed during the standard academic year contract period (fall and spring semesters).
