The Master of Health Science program is structured around four core graduate terms and culminates in a research paper showcasing expertise gained through coursework. Within the Department of Mental Health, students can pair their MHS degree with various Bloomberg School of Public Health certificate options, including Mental Health Policy and Economics, Health Education, Health Finance and Management, Health Policy, Health and Human Rights, Health Communication, Health Disparities and Health Inequality, Injury Control, or Maternal and Child Health. Full-time students can pursue these certificates without additional fees when completing courses during standard terms 1-4, enriching their mental health research education. Additionally, a combined BA/MHS program is available through collaboration with the School of Arts and Sciences' Public Health Studies program.
